best way to organize first meeting
Hi, do any of you have experience for how first meeting was well set up. I will be in europe for two weeks staying in Kiev at hotel. Is it sensible to invite the person I have been corresponding with to the city for a week... what arrangements have been good experiences? thank you!

Yes i have my own experience in Kiev, but each person is different like Julia has said!
First of all you have to talk with the girl you're corresponding! If she is able and want to go to Kiev!
If both can go, the best option is in the center near Maidan square, and all the center of the city!

А почему -"подскажите"?Подсказывайте! Какой отель выбрать, какой номер,в какие рестораны сходить.Как Вы думаете, в этих вопросах очень ценно чье- то мнение?

First things first.I understand , that you are excited to go overthere , and meet the woman , that you are in contact with.
That is all fine.But just as important , is your own , preparation , for this journey.
And to think about , how you will be passing the days.
Remember that it is now , winter overthere.And it will depend on the weather and temperature , what trips or tours , you may join.
Furthermore , it is just as important , to know a bit , about the traditions and the culture of the people of Ukraine.
What do you know , about dating a Ukrainian lady.What present to bring for her.
Do you speak Russian well ,or very well ??Or will you need a translator.
And will the translator be present , on all dates ??
If your lady speaks English , then there is no problem.
But when you will go , on your own , to walk around , it is good , when you know or can read , the street names!
And , yes , very important , will or can the lady , come to Kiev , for 1 week ??And get to know you better ??
Will you be inclined , to pay for her stay , at the hotel ??
Remember , these ladies , they expect you , to pay for everything.The dinners , the breakfasts , if you will have any , and so on.
Be a gentleman and treat her with respect and dignity.And also remember , when you are really serious with her , be honest.
Understanding , their life , the difficulties from the moment , the social connections , with her family and relatives , will make things much easier , for you both.
You should realize , that she is a different woman , and not the same , as a Western lady.
Although , in Kiev , the women , may be more Westernized , than in other parts from Ukraine.
Keep in mind , that the way , that you are socializing , with a woman in your country , may not be correct , in some cases , with your Ukranian lady.
Treat her like a real lady , be yourself , and understand , what you can say , and cannot do!
Then everything will be fine , but always be honest and sincere.

Have you considered a flat instead? I mean..it js possible to cook and clean and to have some smalm glimpse into a ladies life while in a home settign like a flat. I dont mean her cook...I cook too. Also..consider offering a separate room at first. Likely she will wonder about the sleeping arrangement of a hotel. I like amd have done both but a flat was best. Also...there are very new Hyundai high speed trains from all corners kf the Ukraine. So be sure you don't get talked into some expensive airfare if the train js within 5 hours (120 to 160kilometers per hour) and it costs $35*$85 USD. Some flights are just as cheap though RT from Odessa, Lviv and Kharkov. Maybe take the train to see her town and ride it back to Kiev? Its a nice gesture and will not appear as if you are saying"let me pay for you to come sleep in my hotel room." Nit saying you are but...some might think like thst. Just my own experiences
