Hello again all! Only very few days here as basic member (cannot reply mails yet, so sorry!) and already I can say I am enchanted to be here on this site among such company that makes me feel comfortable, at home, at ease. One aspect that gets my attention is the translation of Russian and Ukrainian into English, of course the machine translations are sometimes often strange, but what one can see is the richness of culture and language, I enjoy reading some of the 'her' to 'her' discussions, it is very illuminating.
I perceive that in the Russian and Ukraine languages there are very many rich expressions, idioms and metaphor. Sometimes this makes difficult understanding because the machine translates literally each word, and often, particularly in Russian, meanings are in the group of words. Sometimes it is possible to guess the meaning, other times not. So now I try to write very carefully, to make it easy for the machine, it is not easy because I cannot use expressions or metaphor which translate so badly, and it is necessary to consider each word, in addition it is necessary to heed grammatical items, I try to keep simple because I notice many grammatical differences.
This makes my writing style more explicit and strange, do forgive!
My intention was to upgrade my membership in order to be able to communicate after the 15/08/2014, but ....I have to reconsider my idea as I find the desire to communicate increases very strongly! So I think maybe even today or tomorrow I will be able to respond.
Perhaps the following is a question to post on another wall but just to say I have not filled in the compatibility form for the reason that after reading two or three questions I realised that the premise of compatibility I do not share; example: if you like strong cheese and I hate it, we are incompatible. I do not agree with this kind of premise. Some of the greatest loves have been between totally incompatible partners, are you looking to fall in love, then love, or are you looking for a relationship with zero conflict? How boring!
Well of course, some shared things are necessary to bond people together, but honestly let's be realistic, if you like holidays in the tropics and I like holidays in the artic it is not an issue it does not make anybody incompatible.
