mailing gifts to russia

Hi, just confused about the regulations of mailing gifts to russia,in terms of what can and cant be sent? as well as duty fees etc

Custom duties: "The international mail units exempted from customs payments are used to send personal goods within one calendar month to one recipient being a private person located in the customs territory of the Customs Union which customs value does not exceed 1000 EUR and the total weight is not more than 31 kilograms. At exceeding the mentioned values the customs duties, taxes are paid at the single rate of 30% of their customs value, but no less than 4 EUR per 1 kilogram of weight in case of exceeding the value limit of 1000 EUR and/or the weight limit of 31 kilogram. In such case the submission of additional declaration to the customs bodies is not required. The customs duties, taxes are paid in a post office at mail receiving."
