Понятно, что если в голове ноль, то у такого человека, любовь к самому к себе выглядит, как идиотизм, но ёлки, в таких тоже влюбляются.....и ничего не замечают, хотя видна разница в интеллекте. И где истина???

This is the best I can come up with:
It's understood that if there's zero (nothing) in someone's head - (i.e. if someone is brainless)
then love for oneself will appear as idiocy to this person, 
but for the sake of it, some do fall in love with such (a type) as well... 
and they can't notice anything, 
though the difference of intellect is obvious.
So where's the truth???

Thank Ben, it's too bad I was excited to see where the christmas tree fit into all this but the translator played with my emotions

Multitran is MUCH more reliable (and accurate) for translations. The only thing: more effort.

Ben wanted it and then explained about the meaning of this post.
Like you, such publication is confusing for me. And I do not know what is the meaning of "Christmas tree" in the phrase. Perhaps the translator did not work well here.
Anyway, I think that the answer to the question elaborated by the author is that the truth is in the universe.
