Is there anybody who have an idea about st.petersburg hotels? please advice :)

I stayed at the Stary Nevsky on Nevsky Prospekt. Booked through www.booiking.com. Nice, small and conveniently placed to Aleksander Neskogo Metro station. There are plenty of places along this mainroad. Just check on the site I mentioned.

Whether your length of stay is days or weeks, I would suggest renting a private flat instead of a hotel. The advantages of flats are lower cost, privacy, spaciousness, and convenience of having full kitchen with appliances. The advantage of hotels are having amenities like swimming pools, room service, restaurants, and direct visa registration service (but I'm not certain if this is necessary for visitors holding Turkish passports).

Saint Petersburg is amazing city; hope you enjoy your stay!

Astoria hotel in St petersburg is quite nice, I stayed there a few years ago. Make sure you have enough money if you are dating a Russian woman ;-) Good luck )))
