1. Вы  можете  обратиться  в  туристическое  агенство  и купить  у  них  ткр( поездка)  в  нужный  город. Агенство  будет  помогать вам  с оформлением  визы. Агенство  и расскажет  про  нужный  паспорт для  поездки  в  Россию.

2. Вы  купили туристическую  поездку  в  Россию  и  будете  останавливаться  в  отеле. Представитель отеля  сделает специальную  регистрацию  о  вашем прибытии  в  Россию  в  этот  город.  Вам не  нужно  делать.  Вы  можете  ночевать  в  отеле  или можете одну  иди двн  ночи  ночевать в  другом месте. Человек  может  гулять по  городу  ночью  и  смотреть  на  красоту  природы     Это не  запрещено законом.

3. Ваша  подруга  может сделать  приглашение  для  Вас в  Россию.  Но  вы  написали  что  вы  не  хотите  такой   вариант.

I gladly share my experience, as I have gone through all variants of the strenuous and tedious process of applying for a Russian visa.

As Arina correctly points out, there are several options of obtaining a visa (5 in total, of which I shall discuss only two, as neither a diplomatic, nor a student, nor a work visa are applicable to your situation).

That leaves you with a

1) visiting visa:

The advantage is that you can stay longer than 30 days, but it takes a really long time to obtain one, as they spend weeks, if not to say several months until they issue one, plus the invitee has to cough up all the procedural expenses.

This involves a great deal of patience, financial resources on the invitor's side and also trust as all information is processed to and forth. Choose this option only if you know the person really well!

2) tourist visa:

you can either find a tourist / travel agency (there are ways to help you through this website also, but you need to contact an admin to receive a list of reliable contact addresses) or you book a package tour and make the arrangement yourself.

On the internet are a number of Russian companies that will supply you with an invitation . It may cost about the 20 -30 euro mark. You write in the details of what cities you wish to travel , and they will send you an invitation very quickly with the name , or names of a hotel in your chosen city or cities , where you will "stay". You then sent this along with your other documents to the embassy. they should accept this . The beauty of this is that you do not need to stay in these hotels , you can stay in a private apartment as you wish . Check it out on the internet . this is how it worked before , unless rules have changed.

You may have good intentions to surprise her with your visit.And you may be very sure , that she will like to see you - unexpectedly.

But there may be situations , when your visit is not at a good time.

i - She may be ill/sick
ii - She may work in another place (and can only come home for the weekend)
iii - She may not have her house/appartment in a state to receive you.
iiii - she may have relatives staying at her place

Is this your 1st visit to her and to that region ?
When this is your 1st visit to her , I surely wouldn't go to see her unexpectedly.

Other things to consider :

1 - she may have plans to go to the hair dresser and the manicure (but you came before that appointment)
2 - she has no suitable dress to wear ..... ( shoes , handbag etc )
3 - the family situation may not be suitable for a foreigner to visit her .
4 - on the financial part , she may not be able to present you with a nice good dinner and drinks , etc .

Вы идете в туристическую компанию, она должна быть зарегистрирована в Едином Федеральном Реестре туроператоров, должна иметь ресурс-номер. Там получите туристическое приглашение, укажите дату посещения России, отель, где будете останавливаться, название отеля и адрес(после получения визы Вы можете ехать в другой отель или даже снимать квартиру),указать города, которые будете посещать.Вы можете посетить 5 городов, но их всех надо указать)Покупать туристическую путевку необязательно , Вы можете самостоятельно забронировать отель.Шаг4.Оформить полис медстрахования. Если у Вас уже есть такой, то необязательно делать новый, нужно только спросить действует ли он в Российской Федерации.Это был шаг 3. Я ошиблась. Шаг4. Заполнить анкету для получения визы.Указать дату проживания, города, которые посетите, отель,где собираетесь,фамилию ,имя.Шаг 5. Распечатать анкету, поставить подпись, прикрепить фотографию.Шаг 6.Предоставить все документы в консульство России или Визовый цент. Дорогой Алан.,когда Вас будут спрашивать о цели приезда надо отвечать:Туризм-туристическая компания организует прием. Никогда не говорите, что едите к женщине. Визу Вы получите, может быть через 10-12 дней. Примерно за все Вы заплатите немного более,чем 60 евро. По прибытии в Россию в аэропорту Вам выдадут миграционную карту. В течение 7 дней Вам нужно будет встать на миграционный учет в любом отеле. Когда Вы прибудет в отель, Вам сразу сделают в миграционной карте отметку, что Вы приехали. Если Вы захотите снять квартиру, то хозяйка Вас должна зарегистрировать в этой квартире . Но согласится ли она, я не знаю. Обычно сдают квартиру на длительный срок. Но может быть Вы будете жить у своей любимой. У меня условия, например, плохие.Я об этом писала уже. Hi Eric thank you for your reply.I do not intend to just arrive unexpectly that would be silly.I plan to have evrything I need ready and in place needing only suitable dates (which she will choose)before submitting a visa application.I plan to stay in a hotel and if she chooses for me to stay elsewhere then that would be her decision.As for the financial side her finances are of no importance.
