No it's their first name.

Russian girls don`t have 2 names like in the USA, where there are: Anna Maria (1 girl).
In Russia people have 1 surname+1name[Anna (1 girl), Maria (another girl). Or Yulia (1 girl), Elena (another girl)] +1 patronymic.
