larisa i was just about to send my sympathies to olga, and tell her that i feel the same way. when I came across your comments. if you have been here for 3 years, then don't you think it's time to change something in your life. communication here, or anywhere where there is only the written word to judge a person by, is at best a slow proccess. at worst, an impossibility. I am a man who is very open to both change and compromise. I will never ever find a partner who will just slip seamlessly into my life, and i into hers. it's impossible. I feel that in the first instance a physical attraction must be there. as this is just the way humans are made, we like someone, and if the parameteres are there, then we go to the next step. In our case, this would be writting a couple of basic letters to see if we were both basically on the same page of life. but none of these steps can draw the picture of how two people react to each other. even just speaking on skype gives so much. maybe one of the people is quiet and the other is loud. maybe they both like this in each other. maybe the pictures you fell so much for were ' just good pictures ' and the reality is just not as attractive, maybe the opposite is the case. there are just so so many parameteres to take into account finding a suitable partner to share your life with. and this cannot be done by letters, but skype gives us a really good idea of the persons personality. and it is so much easier to discuss lifestyles, expectations, wants and needs.
it can be the strangest two people who can make a good and harmonious couple. as long as they are prepared to give and take and compromise. time passes us by whilst we are here searching for the perfect partner, who in reality doesn't exist. we must see the positive in our future partner, not the things that don't quite fit into our picture of perfection.
anyway maybe i got a bit off track, i was just so happy and surprised to see you here. i have written to you some times without recieving a reply, and i know it must be difficult for such a beautiful woman like you to open, read and take in all the information that's sent to you. and probably impossible to reply to even half of it.
so that was my 5€ worth of comments. ;-)
