Here's a sensible reality check - dating rules for novices and absolute beginners BEFORE you even think of meeting:
1) Have you connected on any social media (facebook, telegram, instagram, twitter, tumbler, skype)
2) Have talked long enough to feel comfortable to exchange phone numbers and connect on a messenger (signal, telegram, viber, whatsapp)
3) Have you had a video call as well?
4) Have you seen his home (photos from the outside AND the inside)
5) Have you seen him INSIDE his home during a video call?
6) Have you seen his passport?
If the answer to any of them is "no" then work on that. If the answer to ALL of them is "no" then do a little reality check.
