This whole "strong man", "real man", "proper man" is nothing but futile, empty and brainless chatter and waffle. It's a cheap and low trick of manipulation: 'women' (creatures) who blabber about that, merely seek a footmat that will all the trash they intend to pour down and dish out. The call for a "strong man" only comes from creatures who are too weak, too feable and too afraid to live by taking their own decisions. They literally NEED someone who does it all for them and - if things go wrong - someone whom they can hold accountable for and blame. Pathetic, really! My advice: kick & cut 'em: there's a useful block function for those, they deserve precisely that - and only that.
