Regardless of the tales our friend from Varese tells, there are many good and loving people in churches in the US. Nothing like poor Tommaso would tell you; I question if he has ever been to the US. Many churches are like big families; they are not cults; they sing and play and do many activities together, support and encourage each other as I try to do with my new friends here. A place to be married, a place to be surrounded by loved ones, when your time is completed. Not all churches are the same, not all fellowships are what they say they are. The famous Westboro Baptist Church is not even a church; it’s a legal office run by attorneys who cause vicious hurt and then sue the victims who respond. Many places only calling themselves churches but with sad, angry people like Tommaso   If you find a good church, you will be very happy interacting with others, safety and security having people who care and will assist when you need a friend. A community within a community. Don't be alarmed by what the hateful say; I happen to be a musician who has played in many churches and have never seen what Tommaso has described. He is a victim of propaganda but he reminds us there exists a conflict between good and evil. He should be grateful to find a group that still loves and cares for him when his sad life is finished, instead of dying alone, without hope. You will find shelter and comfort with others who believe in good. Of course, Marina’s friend is very happy in her new home. Please don’t let that secret get out. 😉
