My father was a pastor. When I was young, in our church was a hopeless alchoholic who drank every weekend and awoke on the side of a street on Monday morning and could not remember the past 3 days. One day, I remember watching this man kneel with my father and pray; from that moment he never touched a drop of alchohol for the rest of his life. The change was instant and permanant. I'm not preaching; I'm just saying this happened.
