Okay, ladies and gentlemen; Sorry for our brief interruption. Now back to previously scheduled programming (TV) already in progress. Tonight's subject: Families!
A picture of my son is posted on my profile. Some of you know I raised him by myself from 18-months. Many of you single mothers, I do not understand how you make it raising 2 or more children, but my heart is with you. When Karl turned 20-years, he joined a group of young people who traveled our nation on tour talking to 100s of thousands of teenagers about sex and living a clean life.
Sex among kids has skyrocketed and become a source of tragedy for many of our youth. Karl’s group promoted waiting till marriage to for sex; each teen wears a silver ring on their finger as a promise to wait until they are married to give themselves to their mate. On their wedding night, they give the ring to their new wife or husband in a special display of love. This is a very successful program; film crews from England, Ireland, Germany and other countries have come here to visit to learn about this. Interesting thing about Karl - He did not get along well with one of the girls on the tour. She told him, "Karl, I don't like you!!!" He retorted, "Well, I don't like you, either!!!" The girl is now my daughter-in-law. ))
I am very proud of my son who loves others and tries to make a difference for good in his world. These are some pictures of him in action. Thank you for looking. I know that many of you have very special children who have done wonderful things. I would be interested in knowing more about them, seeing their pictures and hearing your stories.
