Having psychological understanding and close hand experience with gays, the gay suicide rate is not related to discrimination, Helga. (For one thing, there would have to be actual discrimination taking place.) It is a result of sexual identity confusion and rampant promiscuity. I know men who go every evening to the Western Promenade in my city, looking to be picked up for sex by any stranger. They brag to each other the following morning how quickly they were picked up and how many guys they were with. Normal? They brag they have had sex with hundreds and hundreds of men; this would indicate psychosis in women, under the same circumstances. While the issues are complex, there is extreme guilt associated with their behavior.
American gays are not satisfied to live and let live; they demand the entire the nation “celebrate” their gayness and demand laws to infringe on the religious freedoms of those who see their behavior as immoral. (This same behavior is seen as immoral in hetero-sexuals. I disagree with adultery by spouses and would also refuse to celebrate that.) In Washington DC, near where I lived, during their “celebrations”, gays proudly engage in open group sex and orgies by the hundreds in the public streets. The police used to close down the streets and let them go; had they been hetero-sexual, they would all be arrested. This year the police made a public announcement warning this behavior would not be tolerated; there was an immediate angry outcry from the gay community claiming discrimination. Really?
Regarding chronic physical problems; do normal people engage in sexual activities they know will eventually kill them? The male sex act is destructive to their bodies. I can’t describe the resulting physical problems, but it is entirely avoidable. Lesbians do not appear to have the same risk as the men.
