The problem with tattoos is that they are usually permanent displays of temporary expressions. The emotional expression ceases; the tattoo lives forever; a problem if the girl’s name was Anna, but he is now dating Julia. Many sad young people got horrible tattoos when they were drunk; others, when they were insane! Since this is a dating site, I offer my personal perspective of female tattoos, as a guy.

On young girls, some tattoos look cute on tight skin; skin does not remain tight forever. Sometimes tattoos express a silly thought; maturity comes and the silly thought remains. Online are entire websites devoted to misspelled tattoos. Sorry no way to correct that; you must live with it, even though you look stupid.
In the US, a tattoo across a girl’s lower back is called a “tramp stamp!” Being called a “tramp” is not a complement. In the US, girls get tattoos in the most intimate places. Does how that “art” was acquired say anything about the girl who requested it? (That also applies to piercings in the same places.) Do not guys wonder about tattoos on a girl’s pelvis or ass?

Regardless of who denies this, tattoos are body mutilations, which the customer hopes will look attractive when healed. Often there is infection, scarring and disfiguration. (There are websites devoted to that, too.) The pain and bleeding required to produce some tattoos is enormous. What guy does not wonder what kind of girl endures this pain for permanent artwork, especially in an intimate place, which will not change when she gets wiser? I don’t think about the tattoo as much as the mental condition of the girl who desires it.

In another post here, guys remarked they did not wish to see a potential future partner dressed a call girl, lying suggestively in bed, etc. Most guys were not impressed with a girl’s suggestive (cheap looking) portrayal of themselves, in order to attract a man. Neither do guys typically like too much makeup…only enough to make a girl look healthy or natural. Does anyone wonder how a guy feels if the girl uses her body for someone else’s art pad? To me, tattoos cheapen the natural splendor of a beautiful woman.

I agree with Antonina; a woman’s body is sacred, especially to her husband. Tattoos cheapen her; even if a popular trend or the artist is talented. Worse thing a guy can discover on his wedding night is, “Property of…(some motorcycle club)”, tattooed on his new bride’s ass. Maybe other guys also have an opinion?
