Then I am glad I am not the only one! Kvas was too bitter for me, although ironically, my ex-wife did not like root beer here for the same reason, but loves kvas. I must say I love to drink compote while in Belarus or Ukraine. The idea of sala or this jellied meat, causes a gag reflex just to think about it and I am usually very adventurous with the food. I suppose that we cannot like everything!
