Hello Svetlana,
I cannot say from a man's perspective, how such actions (disappearance) can follow such plans and words of love. You did not mention how long your relationship lasted and so not certain if he quickly leapt to the "strong feelings" or if it was more gradual. Obviously he was a fraud in some form because you cannot profess true love for someone and then simply disregard their feelings. This is a contradiction of the highest order.
As I have said with relationships that have started and ended, "better to have ended now than later and to know the truth".
I have heard a story through an acquaintance that a group of men would bet to see how many women they could get to invite them to visit or say they loved them or other false criteria. I cannot imagine how callous and cruel one must be to play with others' emotions so and I am embarrassed as a man to admit other such men exist. Sadly while the internet is a great tool for finding a love across the ocean, it is also a tool for the evil to prey on others. I am not saying this man set out to deceive you, but clearly he was not true in his words of affection.
Sorry for your hurt and wish you to find a real man!
Kindest regards,
Steven
