I know, it is such a double standard and of course, the line in very blurry, but people here make such odd decisions at times and we seem to promote the victim mentality. One more thing I like about the Slavic culture is the take responsibility for their situation and don't blame others. Here we have too much of a blame game, thanks to the trial lawyers.
I remember a visit to the zoo in Kharkov and it was February, cold and lots of snow. There was a large portion with lots of ice that formed on and near the path. In the US, they would have had to close the zoo until it was "safe". If someone walked on it, and fell, they would have received lots of money! I think there in Ukraine, if someone walked on the ice and fell, they would be told "Stupid! It's ice! It's slippery!"
There is a big difference in the general mentality and one more reason I am looking for a Slavic girl. I want someone who is willing to take responsibility for their life and build a life, not have it handed to them.
(On that note, I wish everyone well. I am going to take a break from this site for a bit. I really need a 'reset' perhaps and need to but some extra attention to the start of my business. I do not know if the hiatus will be a few days, a few weeks or a few months. In the meantime, I hope everyone is well, happy and successful. Open your hearts and do not be afraid to find love!)
