At first, nothing is wrong with your profile. All is well. Are you getting no answers, or no ones write to you?
For the first reason, I think men are blind and and lose a chance to meet a very interesting woman.  
For the second reason, I think you should be active by yourself and write the first letter. I know, in your opinion, or better with your mentality the man should be do the first step. But I think it´s wrong. If you like a man, just take the cahnce and you´ll see. Not all will successful and sometimes can it disappointed, but one day all will be good and you will have problems you´re never know before.
