Hi Elena ,

Personally , I have no real cases , or talked with people , who have worked in my country. But I know , that there are many Polish , Bulgarian and other people , working here , from other countries , which are a member of the European Community.
Some of them were heavily exploited , and others had a better boss.So , it depends , were you will go to work.

Everywhere in the European Community , you should have a legal permit , which allows you , to work , in that country. If the employer , will let you work for him/her , he/she , will get a heavy fine , from the authorities. And you may be forced to leave the country (or they will send you back home).
Now people from Bulgary and Romania , are permitted to come to work here (in all the countries of the E Community).

Because Romania and Bulgary , are now official members of this Community. So , here in Holland ,the government is a bit afraid , that there will be many of them , coming , to look for work. And because of this , they are now checking more frequently , if there are people working illegal here.
I don`t know about the situation or work in Spain and Germany.

But I must tell you , that there are people from Spain , coming to Holland , to look for work here too.And we have people from Ireland and England here also.Because the wages are higher here , than in England.
Also you must know , that the un-employment , in Holland , has gone up , in the past 5 years , because of the crisis. And many , many companies , went bankrupt in these years , also.

So , you see the dilemma , that is facing our government , these days. These are hard times , and it is not easy , to get everyone , to find a job.Unless you cannot find , a legal contract , to come and work in the European Community , it will be very difficult , to find work here , in the illegal circuit.

The employers now , can choose from many cheap labors ,from Poland , Bulgary and Romania (and other countries). So , they don`t really need , to hire people , illegally.

I am sorry , that I cannot give you a better prospective. But this is the situation right now. There are hard times here too.
But I know , that in your country , the situation is far more problematic.I mean to say , that even before the uprising , I was aware , that the life in the Ukraine , is very hard.
I only can hope , that things will get better , for you and your country.Because , I think , that the Ukraine is a very beautiful country , with many ancient buildings and architecture.

Many exciting historic places , and beautiful nature and sceneries. And last , but not least , that the people are very friendly.
So , yes , I really hope , that all will get better , for all of you.

Eric
