Ekaterina ,
I strongly would suggest , to reconsider your last advice : " I think this is what Russian wives can teach European husbands don't worry about crisis " .
I can tell you , that many couples , in my country , did divorce , because of the crisis. The man or woman , or both , have lost their job.
And their monthly income , is not enough , to pay all the bills.
When they have children , the situation , is a bit more dramatic.I know , that many couples , had to sell their house , because they could not pay the mortgage , anymore.
So , the bank , put the house up , for auction. In many cases , this will result , that the house is sold , for much lower price.
Than when the couple bought the house. Also , the past 5 years , the prices (and value) of the houses , were going down!
So , people , who had bought a house , just before the start of the crisis , were in a real bad luck!
It is common knowledge , that some families , were put out of their house.Because the bank wanted to auction the house.
And they had no place to go.Some were taking shelter , in a caravan (they use it , to go on holiday).
Others , had some relatives , who could help them.
Also some churches , did offer , to give families , some shelter. So , the crisis , was and is , a real worry , for a great part , of the working people here.
Our economy , is still very fragile. Our government , is trying , to create more jobs , and to help people , to find other work.
But after 4 years , it did not do much!!Unemployment , is still very high in Holland.
And every year , it gets higher , because students , who finished their study or school , cannot find a proper job.
On the other hand , the government , has been cutting ,on the social security allowances. So , when you loose your job , your monthly income , will go down , by a big margin.
And thus , people , don`t have money to spend , on luxury things.
While we should sober up , our money is going to Greece , Italy , and other EU countries , which are in a financial bad situation.
We did everything right , the past 2 years , according to the Brussels EU rules.
And what did they tell us , hey , you guys from Holland , your economy has grown , alittle bit , in those 2 years.
So , you need to pay , an additional amount of money , to the EU committee. This was the same for Great Britain.
While France did not do it`s part , and Italy`s economy did not grow.France doesn`t have to pay the fine (again!!).
And I am not sure , if France will get a money refund.Italy , will have some money refunded.
Just like Germany , because it`s economy , did shrink , the past years.
So , the crisis , is making a big difference , for the EU.Don`t think about it , too lightly.
In case , that you didn`t know.My country , had a back up scenario , to leave the EU and the Euro , some years ago.
I believe , it was at the time , if or when Greece , would be pushed out of the EU.
So , the crisis , is affecting , everyone. And right now , at this moment.
