I know you've made your decision about the unpleasant incident. It was rather a bad taste joke.

But if I may. I would like to say. With the vision of those who are far from Russia. And as Brazilian who has suffered prejudice and discrimination.

The information they provide out of their country, are very different from what you know in your locality. They are often true information or outraz times are speculative and distorted.

Also historically, a long time. Some nations have spread misinformation about countries with different cultures and habits. Maybe today has decreased, due to communication speed and ease of access to information over the internet. But it's still a trsite reality.

Here in Brazil, it is customary to make jokes about Portugal. Almost always about politics and everyday situations. Just as Americans make jokes about Australians and British.

I've heard some jokes about Brazilians and about Brazil. That are not according to our reality. But I understand that whoever is far speaks the basis of the information that reaches there.

Of course, when it comes to culture and patriotism, it will always hurt us. And so that your relationship is healthy. It is important to expose their discontent with an improper joke or an incoherent comment. Each nation has its virtues and also its flaws. Usually the jokes are about the failures. But do not be offended by it. All estamso subject to situations like this that told us.

The important thing is not to allow such cultural differences interfere with feeling and undermine the success of the relationship.
