Antonina, I also read you wrote about Norway in another thread, and if you only was here for a couple of weeks it is impressive how accurate you describe everything. As the two expressions much used as «there is no bad weather, only bad clothes» (In Norwegian weather and clothes are riming so it is an expression, and one has to go out anyway, no matter what the weather is like) and that «if you dont like the weather just wait 10 minutes and you will get another one». But its most correct and is used by the coast from Kristiansand and all the way up to the Russian border and in the mountains. The area where I live, from Oslo and up to Lillehammer, not so often get attention so then I could use this opportunity to throw out some pictures from my little city, Hamar by the lake Mjøsa. It is another climate than by the coast, much colder in the winters and warmer in the summer. We dont have those shiftings in weather, if it is sun in the morning, it is also sun in the evening. Ok, not always then, hehe, but not that changing weather like by the coast, and rarely windy. It is possible to plan a barbeque evening outside. Typical inland climate. Often -20 C in February, and around 20 C in June, July and first part of August. But it is also true that it is very expensive to travel here. Many things are double the price as in Sweden, but that is also often «unhealthy» products like chocolate (or everything with much sugar in it), alcohol and tobacco. But unfortunately also some normal products like meat and cheese is more than double the price.
So then I will destroy the spectacular mountain and coast pictures with some small town Pictures
