As for me, I don`t think it`s useful to improve your cyber-communication if you meant writing only. You just write words, but words are just words without proof. So it`s better to see each other as you said "face to face".
As for me - I get bored when somebody just write me without seeing each other.
So I achieve a good emotional stream when I understand that we are the same, but I understand it only after seeing him/her face to face.
