Firstly I didn't ask question here!   Maria did!

Somehow, lots of woman here are missing the point!   Nobody says that is wrong or right for a man to pay for woman expenses!!! The point is that it cant be taken as granted and expected from man! I like that you are independent. But if you are, why would you accept that man pays for you? Isn't it if you accept it means that you depend on him?! What Maria tried to say is that her principle is to pay for her self and i respect that. And again, i agree that man should travel first as woman safety is very important. I would like to ask you now, what do you have in common with older man? What will you two talk about? And for how long? The stability you looking for is what exactly? Financial? Psychological? Physical? Those all things you can find in the man of your generation too.. Maybe not as much financial, but everything else for sure. Now again, don't misunderstand me, it is possible that you find older man who will love you and you will love him.. But the chances are minimal.. That is reality...I am talking out of my experience and to be honest, i think i have more then enough of that..  
If a woman asks me for my bank statements and asks that i pay for the ticket, i will just have a nice laugh and walk away.. But there are man which will say, yes.. So, good luck in your search..
