My apologies for invading the Ladies' section, but I feel I should interject. In social circles, most men don't have their friends take photos of them, and they don't take photos of their male friends like women do. I don't now the last social gathering I had in which we took photos of ourselves, we just enjoy our company and don't capture that memory with a camera. In Ukraine, I was shocked by the frequency in which people put a lot of effort to take photos of their friends without a reason - it simply does not happen here. For most men, they may not have any good and recent photos available. It's not a necessity, it's not something we do for fun. Many men on this site would live alone, so they don't have anyone to take a photo of them. Selfie photos are typically not very flattering. And yes, some men prefer their privacy, which is understandable given possible consequences in the professional sphere. Just because a man does not post his photo on the site, doesn't necessarily imply that he is hiding something. If he has good opportunities and refuses after months of asking, I would certainly start to worry though.
