Most importantly, do not forget to include some photos of the two of you together, this will be a solid prove to the Canadian Embassy that the two of you have indeed met each other in person. Irina, when you are ready to fill out the visa application form, my suggestion to you is to request only for the single entry visa, do not request for the multiple entry visa, because the Canadian Embassy may feel suspicious of your motive, especially if this is the first time you apply for the visa. Although if your visa will be approved, it will usually allow you to stay for 3 to 6 months. However, do not request to stay in Canada for more than three weeks on your application form. As for your documents, I believe you also need to provide your lists of financial assets and your letter of employment to the Canadian Embassy in order to prove you have strong tie and connection with your country. In your employment letter, you can suggest to your employer to write that you will be expected to return to your work on a certain day.
