All very interesting point of views, but somehow I still believe that the marital status "divorced" carries
a negative charge....in real life and online dating. In my view once you're no longer in a relationship with
someone, you are simply single. It doesn't have to matter that you're divorced...it doesn't really serve a
purpose other than to brand you in my opinion. Same would apply to the term widow or widower...
