Я давно заметила одну закономерность . Если человек рассуждает о меркантильности других - он патологически жаден .Если о нравственности - порочен , ну и т.д.  

Это ж как говориться "товар лицом".   Да еще и в день влюбленных, наверное на что то расчитывал 

И добавить нечего, Таня!  

Кстати, я когда выбирала , от кого принять общение , тщательно посматривала анкету. И если там находила фото с голыми торсами , или на фото эксклюзивных авто , то эти претенденты автоматически мною отсеивались .

Думаю, что голый торс на аватаре, особенно у мужчин в не очень юном возрасте,- может рассказать даме о всей "серьезности" намерений мужчины.

I think that when "middle-aged Russian ladies" write to you, "I'm looking for a serious man," these ladies mean a man like I described... But not a businessman in a jacket... A man is measured by his actions towards a woman. And not with words and with what jacket on him.

As an American, I can say there is no good reason for a man to ask for your passport and address, especially so early in the conversation. Flowers and gifts can be sent by courier with only a phone number. And I once asked for passport info of a girl I had know for some time, so that I had her proper spelling of last name to send money for a present to her daughter.
Generally, if it seems strange or "fishy", then it probably is a scam.

Страна переиграна - по моей инициативе. Делать телодвижения типа возьмите деньги с кредитной карте - положите на свою дебетовую и т.д., как мне посоветовала менеджер визового центра - не хочу. Нашли ту, где достаточно справки с моей работы. Мне лично было принципиально только то, чтобы можно было сделать биометрию в моем городе. Сейчас, слава Богу, список стран, для которых делается биометрия в моем городе, увеличился.

The priest filled these forms and we brought it to court again and got new forms to church. The priest filled these new forms, too. We brought it to court again (actually my husband because I worked) and finally got a marriage certificate. Does Canada have the same: to run court-church-court-church-court during 2 weeks? Actually any pleasure especially for working persons

the procedure I do believe would be very similar with all countries. The waiting time may vary when the Lady is from the USA
