I just had a rather dull conversation with a cold and stubborn lady from Ukraine. We planned our meeting but she didn´t seem very exited about it. So after booking the flight tickets and hotel etc. I tried to make the atmosphere a little more interesting and cozy by using the word "romantic dinner" and then all hell broke loose. She told me she couldn´t have a romantic dinner with someone she hadn´t met before. That´s fair enough but where is the optimism, the enthusiasm, the encouragement? We men has to be so careful what to say and women can say and do whatever they want. To me romantic is just about enjoying a candle light dinner in a good mood and then see what happens, I don´t make any plans about sleeping with the lady. I mean that would be stupid, and usually it´s something the lady decides.
