When I read a girl's profile, I always respect her age preference for men. Sometimes, if there are only a few years difference, I will write and say hello. Although I respect her guidelines and do not bother her, I have been contacted by younger ladies who wrote me even though I am far outside the listed preferred age. Have also almost written women until seeing their preferred age for men was their own age, or only two years older. When they contact me, it seems their preferred age for men is irrelevant; am I supposed to ignore that part of the profile?
