Help with expectations & why I am here.

I am on this site looking for a special someone that I can connect to on a deeper level. Specifically I am looking for someone who is not selfish, and who is sincere. A lot of the women I meet where I live are not sincere and I tire of the mind games that are played. I have been reading a lot about how sincere eastern european women are and culturally they seem very appealing to me, I especially gravitate to the strong commitment to family combined with strong independance. What I struggle with is finding common interests, I have chatted with a couple of women from the site so far and I have difficulty moving the conversations past the fact that we are all looking to build a strong sincere relationship and in my case a family. These are important things for sure but I also want to find a woman that I connect with in hobbies and interests, so we have things in common to discuss and do. Is my profile to weak in this regard? Are my expectations misguided? Everytime I try to spend time discussing her interests the conversation seems to go back to the women wanting to build a family and there seems to be little interest outside of that.  If I try to switch the conversation to other topics, does it maybe appear that I am not serious about family? Because I certainly am!
