Eastern woman stereotype

Hiya,

I am wondering what mindset a typical eastern woman will have. I know that everyone is different and this will depend, so it is just a stereotype question. I am interested in girls aged 20-30. I noticed and heard that eastern girls like guys that organize a big part of a family life, that a girl is a bit dependent on a man in a relationship and also can rely on him. I got a feeling that there is a kind of stereotype of a eastern girl that will prefer to devote her independence in exchange for mans leading in a relationship. I always treated woman to man relationships as equal to equal and always expected one to fill the other gaps, but both to have equal influence on the relationship. Are eastern girls more likely to follow a man in a relationship and hope for him to be responsible for some parts of their relation instead of being an equal partner ? Are there parts of a family life that girls will expect a guy to take care of (earn money, make important decisions ?) in exchange for taking other responsibilities themself (rising children, running home ?) ?

Hopefully I could put my question right and made myself clear. I am trying to get to know a typical life attitude and understand social behaviors. I know I can expect a lot of exceptions, but I am sure that there is a typical mindset that a lot of girls will feel in common with.

Thanks for all the answers and suggestions.
