Hi there, I have lost contact with Nadezhda during the war in Ukraine since August 2015. I have been looking now for more than a year to trace her. I am attaching the pictures of Nadezhda that I still have, if anyone know Nadezhda please let me know. Your help will be much appreciated.

В какой-то передаче один американец рассказывал,как выслал много денег своей русской невесте* с сайта знакомств,а она пропала..Скайпа тогда еще не было...Много лет спустя увидел ее по ТВ...Это была певица Валерия.

Скорее всего не "это была Валерия".., а мошенники использовали фото Валерии, чтобы привлечь иностранных женихов.. Любой русский бы сразу увидел, что это Валерия (так много ее было в телевизоре, что только слепой не разглядел бы ее на фото). На самом деле за фотографией вполне мог скрываться мужчина.. имхо

I communicated with her for 3 years and not once did she ask for any money. As I started saving for my trip to the Ukraine, the war broke out and I wasn't going to put myself in danger.
Yes I did communicate through a site, watched all the videos of her and had really had mixed feelings at that stage. I wrote many times and asked specific questions, through this I could establish if this was a real person.
Just before we lost our communication, she said to me that she wants to keep in contact with me once she gets released from her contract, that confirmed that she either wrote these letters herself or a translator did this through an agency. I checked all the foto's that was sent to me and they were all current. I believe that this is the girl in the pictures.
I coulden't skype because the site didn't allow this at all, and the contact details were kept private.
The last letter she wrote to me I opened a week to late and could't book a call through the site because her profile was deactivated, I felt so bad and had hoped that I could trace her. I did find information on google images and it confirmed certain details.
I tried to get in contact with some locals on forums but no luck yet.
My idea is to speak to her face to face to put this all to rest.

I can understand you perfectly.
I didn't send gifts or money, and she never asked for anything.
I watched a programme called RT news which reported on the situation in the Ukraine, and from what I saw every day on this news channel, things didn't look safe.
She kept on telling me that she was blocked off in Lugansk and could not go anywhere else untill they could have safe passage.
I didn't really know what to believe, but whatever she said was also related to what was happening in her city "Lugansk", I watched the news constantly and was very worried about my safety and her safety.
I communicated with her on Anastasiadate, so I dont have any contact details of her, she also claimed to send me letters from her phone and from the computers they use locally through the Anastasia date site.
We couldent disclose any information through Anastasia site, it just got blocked everytime. I didn't book a phone call through the site because it simply was to expensive.
But I did say to her that before I book any flights to the Ukraine that I would phone her through the site to make proper arrangements, and the the war happened.

Was your girl a war criminal? Does your girlfriend in the army to serve? Where do you get information about life in Lugansk? Do you have confirmation from other people?

I came accross the same link on google a few months ago with all the information on except the contact details. You need to be a registered employer on work. ua to see the contact information.
I have sent emails to the university and haven't had any luck, I also have tried other universities but no one answers the emails.
I have been on local forums and nothing yet.

Contact information is private information. You do not get it at university if you can not have important reasons. Interactive dating is not an important reason.
If the girl you cheated you can go to the police. If you are looking for her as an individual you do not get the information.

RT is a channel dedicated to reporting world news but it mainly focus on news in Russia and Ukraine. The only information about the Ukraine would be whatever is on the internet, you cant always believe what you read.
Nadezhda told me that she studied to be a childrens psychology and that she was working at a local school in "Lugansk", she couldn't give any school name it was blocked by the site.
Yes I know that internet dating is expensive but it was my first time dating via a website and also I had to start somewhere to try and find foreigh love. The woman in Eastern Europe attracted me and yes I started an expensive journey.
Yes I know the war started early 2014, I wanted to visit Ukraine in December 2014, but it didn't happen, and only lost contact with her in August 2015.
Nadezda kept on telling me that she would wait, and believe me to try and wait for a war to end can take time.
But as you said, there were other places that we could have met up face to face in another region, but only she will know whats the truth.
I dont really know what her situation was but it felt real and I really want to have a face to face converstion with her so I can forget about this .
