Serious man or serious relationship?

A “serious man” is not a businessman in a suit... A “serious man” is, first of all, a man who is responsible for his words and fulfills his promises immediately. This is a man whose words do not diverge from actions. "Serious man" is honest with himself and with others. If it is a man-woman relationship, then a “serious man” is honest with women. A serious man is consistent, and does not scatter his attention on a hundred women, each promising a “golden mountain”, collecting more and more phone contacts in wats up, communicating with each a little bit and “about nothing”, and then suddenly it gets lost and disappears... A serious man will focus on two women he liked , choosing one fo life during the short time... A serious man for this ONE woman will make her life better and brighter than she was before him...)
I think that when "middle-aged Russian ladies" write to you, "I'm looking for a serious man," these ladies mean a man like I described... But not a businessman in a jacket... A man is measured by his actions towards a woman. And not with words and with what jacket on him.

Кстати, я когда выбирала , от кого принять общение , тщательно посматривала анкету. И если там находила фото с голыми торсами , или на фото эксклюзивных авто , то эти претенденты автоматически мною отсеивались .

Я давно заметила одну закономерность . Если человек рассуждает о меркантильности других - он патологически жаден .Если о нравственности - порочен , ну и т.д.

I may agree with you. But here Stalin is just a character, like many others. Also, looking good and being serious are different things.

Put up whatever pics you want, the women here are telling you what they think of a guy who has up shirtless pics but in the end you only need to find one girl so if 100 think it makes you look like you're in it for anything but serious intentions but your 1 looks past it then you're fine. Usually people want to give themselves the best odds of success so they just put up pics that shine them in the best light and turn off the least amount of potential partners but there's no rule saying you have to do that. I'm sure in the history of online dating no woman has thought, this guy seems perfect but if only he had a shirtless pic up so I knew he really loved summer so not sure why you think it is so necessary but it is important to show your interests generally speaking... in the end if the double standard of a girl putting up some swimsuit shots bothers you that much and you really want your shirtless shot up then more power to you, keep it up.

You'are not going to have a "serious" answer from women with such "false" alternative. Not counting the fact that are already joking in it. Besides there is something called " first impression " and "congruence" : business suits and any others projected self image are definively tainted by the very first poor Trump like image. Serious meaning is always overlooked the true meaning of a serious man is a man who acts or speaks sincerely and in earnest, rather than in a joking or half-hearted manner. However what I’ve found with slavic women is you need to combine serious with the other word they often use “strong man” what is a strong man? its a man who don’t get dictated to by a woman! a man who has the trousers in a relationship. Best working example is man meets woman on dating website, woman says to man i know a good restaurant now if man agrees to the woman’s request straight away often the woman will find the most $hit restaurant with over dressed micro food best way to deal with this is be a strong man and say to the woman with great respect ive been there but i know a better restaurant a man needs to keep control at all times... the actual meeting if a woman wants to meet you! if your paying the travel expenses its on your terms if she not like it theres other women. Women cant walk all over you... so this is serious and strong man! Ive diverted from the actual post but agree mainly what Billy has wrote in the fact that you have justified why you have no shirt on. However you have now put a shirt on which i find “interesting” interesting because don’t be dictated to by a woman but at same time it was actually good advise but the advise started out for the wider audience not you in my opinion! i agree with the girls that from a commercial dating aspect that profile picture semi nude will cut your audience by 50% due to the fact to most slavic women shirtless man = lack of dignity! Everything is good, was a good chapter in my life and no regrets. My boys and mother is ok and I’ve only a couple of months left in this membership with nothing jumping out at me telling me a princess is just around the corner so happy to give a few opinions here for the regulars to question in the traditional way we do it here in forum be it good 😆 bad   or indifferent  .

Excuse me dear, how can we say that someone is serious or not just for a photo? Even because I can't see that virtue in someone through a photo, am I wrong?
