Chris, I'm not sure whether you realized it, but I live in Texas. English is the language I speak daily at work and in my family. I didn't need Urban Dictionary to understand precisely what Dustin meant in the context of this discussion.
I also clearly see that the topic starter isn't college educated and not great in writing, unlike you. You are very eloquent while Dustin is rather inarticulate. Having said that, I believe you could, if you chose to, to find a better way to give a friendly advice rather than speaking in an extremely condescending and dismissive manner.
Additionally, you went as far as insinuating that Dustin has mental issues by bringing up the need for therapy and a victim complex, which you diagnosed. You made a couple of ridiculous claims regarding Dustin's lack of perspectives on this dating site and his experience with women, which you has no way to know.
For the reasons unbeknown to me, you completed a total charachter assasination. Perhaps you enjoy getting validated by women.
Well, I realize you won't, by any means, admit that the whole situation with accusing the topic starter was unwarranted and should have been handled differently. If somebody cared to give Dustin the benefit of the doubt, it could have taken a completely different turn.
The guy from rural Oklahoma may not be the most educated person and lacks sophistication in the Internet discussions, but he was in the military risking his life for his country, which to me is pretty revealing of his character. While some men sign up for the military the others opt to be keyboard warriors.
While this discussion should have never happened, it has been very useful. It showed some of the participants true colors.
Regards.
