Very great post, Tim and very good example to compare, with I said - to what "Doug" may say.
And believe you or not, I would agree in many things, especially about mans? I hate many of our bad aspects.
But I would never say – that you were not in this country and you didn’t see anything.
And again, I would like to apologize about that I said – that you can NOT represent America,
it wasn’t because of ethnicity or something else, It just because I thought that you same immigrant as me by looking at your pics in Thailand and Saylor boat. And I CAN NOT represent Americans or talk on behalf of them. Again, since you born here – yes, you are American.
I would tell you why in my Post I share partially negative feedback.
You and many Americans know about Russia WAY BELOW, of what it is. And if you visit Russia, you would be impressed, by what you think it country is, compare to what you would see.
Many Americans after visiting Russia, was impressed and change their thoughts about this country. There tons of post among internet.
Same way Russian people think about America, they actually imagine about US the WAY ABOVE, than it reality is. Some as was I. I was honestly believed that I could just come to America and would have great life and easily be rich. Aha! Nope. That’s not how it works. It took me over 10 years of HARD damn work and punishment for stupid things, to become somebody, who can tell now – that now I have a GREAT life.
So, what I was trying to do – is to put some people from skies, back to ground, by describing that not everything here is so perfect, as they may think.
For example, if you found woman of your dreams, with perfect smile, great body, ideal hostess. Would it affect you – if I start describing, how good she is, how a perfect smile she have and what a perfect body she own.
I think not.
But if I tell you something about her, such as she drinks a lot, she is snoring, she has no sense of humor or she is not that smart or she have mental problems – would it put you back to ground and start thinking - is she really that good, or maybe you need to look closer!
It’s not necessarily you would believe me, because I sad so, but it would make you think once more.
That was a MAIN POINT of my post, period.
