Так говорили в старину, когда печи русские в домах были). Эту фразу следует понимать так, что, если будет судьба благосклонна, то и встреча состоится, и любовь возгорится. То есть - если это Судьба.

Но если взглянуть в глаза реальности, то стоит сказать слово "нет". Не может быть так. Если принимать фразу так, как она звучит, то есть, даже если слегка ее изменить, то получим такой вариант - девушка / парень сидят дома, перед окошком или еще "лучше" - смотрят телевизор, играют в компьютерные игры и никуда не ходят... О какой встрече и любви может идти речь)? Конечно, никто никого при таком раскладе не встретит.

Когда говорят: "Да, можно встретить!" - немного лукавят. Даю сто процентов, что люди все равно выходили "в люди", плюс общение по работе, прогулки по магазинам и рынкам, выход с подружками / друзьями, например, в кафе или кинотеатр). Это совсем другой разговор.

Но если мы говорим именно о выражении всем известном, конечно, любовь сама просто так в окно или дверь не постучит, в конверте или посылке ее никто не пришлет. Даже для любви надо что-то делать, быть в жизни активнее. А вот что делать - это уже другая тема для разговора).

 i agree canada is a developed country,the people have high income and high welfare,i want to ask you question,are you happy to live in canada?maybe yes or no.i think most of the people lived in Ukraine are happy to live in their country,in your opinion,ukraine is a poor country,but i am sure most ukrainian are happier than you,because they own their house ,they spend holiday with their children and parents.

 i think we are happy to live on earth together,after 20 or 30 years,you should live in heaven ,maybe there are more high income and high welfare than canada,are you happy to live in heaven lonely?

I work for a resort company... one day walking going to the beach I saw 1 old couple walking together taking their hands to the beach... and was so nice saw that, I was impress... and I asked them how many years they had married??... and they told me 55.... and they were celebrating 55th aniversary.... He is 78 years old and She is 74... I was more impress... so I asked them How they done?? or what is the secret..?? and He told me... is very easy... only you have to Trust in your partner and Dont do nothing that would not like you that your couple could do to you too... and He told me an example... I can leave my mobile phone on the table unlocked and go to the bathroom and I dont care if my wife will check it... because I dont have nothing to hide... as the same with her... So think about it... when you are honest and you dont have nothing to hide... your life with your partner is easyier and happy with my wife after 55 year with her...
